The seminars are taken place on Tuesdays and Thursdays 13:00-15:00 (2 hours) in the period between 12 April and 31 May. See the course description for the room.
Objective
This series of the PhD seminars introduces the basic concepts on probability and probabilistic modeling with emphasis on civil engineering applications. Through the seminars, participants will acquire knowledge and skills on probabilistic modeling, which serve as a basis for further study and research related to structural dynamics, structural reliability analysis, risk assessment, and engineering decision making under uncertainty.
Responsible person: Assoc. Prof. Kazuyoshi Nishijima.
